Access 4.x

Binary step controller

The heater power outputs should be binary weighted (1:2:4:8 same for heating and cooling). The corresponding number of steps has to be entered in configuration of the step controller. Access will automatically calculate the individual activation levels. Deactivation level can be adjusted by changing the "Hysteresis for switching step" value.

e.g.

for 4 step binary step controller the activation of the first level occurs approximately at 100/15=6.7 % ((Sequence output %)/(number of binary levels)).

Deactivation occurs approximately at 6.7-1= 5.7% of the sequence output (Level activation - hysteresis).

The general delay time for change of level state (On to Off to On ...) can be set.

The analog output signal may be used to fill out between the steps. The analog output signal of the step controller will go 0 to 100 % between the activation of each step. The load connected to the analog output signal should have the same size as the smallest of the binary groups.
