Access 5.x |
User interface |
There are four methods to connect to the controller for loading, configuration, and control operations:
- Access Application Tool: This Windows-based software is designed for installation, maintenance, and commissioning engineers. It allows for firmware upgrades of the controller and updates to the Access application. The tool includes trend logging capabilities and features a "search for controller" function, making it easy to locate compatible devices on the network.
- Web Browser: A web browser can be used for configuration, commissioning, and as a user interface. However, this method requires the IP address of the controller. In some cases, third-party TCP/IP scanning tools may be needed to locate the controller on the network.
- NaviPad: A control panel that enables access to the controller's web interface via direct cable connection or through a wired TCP/IP network. The NaviPad is used for configuration, commissioning, and as a user interface. It also has a "search for controller" feature to simplify the process of finding compatible devices on the network.
- Access Connect: An Android or iOS mobile application that allows for wireless connection to Access 5.x controllers. The app uses Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to locate nearby controllers and establish a connection. Once connected, the controller can be configured, commissioned, and controlled in the same way as through a web browser or Navipad.
