DI: Cooling/(Heating) changeover |
Input might be utilized by external heat pump to enable heating or cooling only.
Example use case:
Input is used for AHU´s with external air to water heat pump with buffer tank with more than one loads, f.e. if there are more AHUs with reversible water coil.
The controller needs to know if buffer tank is filled with cold or hot water to make correct decision whether to open valve or not.
This information can be given e.g. with this digital input. With this digital input the function for changeover heating or cooling signal is enabled or disabled.
Function (when contact function of input is selected as “normally open”):
DI "on" - disable heating / enable cooling
DI "off" - enable heating / disable cooling
If the input has not been configured, change-over is handled by the internal controller signal only.
