Fire mode damper |
The described functions can be used, but must be in line with the local regulations. Verification need to be done or can be enquired by the local Systemair organization.
Access has possibility to control the additional damper in the fire mode.
There are two options for connecting the fire mode damper:
- Data bus - configuration is similar to other type of dampers. This option doesn't include damper exercising.
- Hardwired connection.
Then hardwired, the fire mode damper can be exercised. The exercise interval is settable. To use this function the damper must have internal or add-on end-position switches (e.g. Belimo S2A).
The end-position switches must be wired to the digital input (DI: Feedback fire damper) of the controller.
When the test cycle is initiated, the digital output "Fire damper" will be activated and the dampers will begin to move.
Within the set time (90 sec) the signal "Feedback fire damper" change to indicate that the damper has left it's initial normal positions. If not, an alarm will be triggered.
Then, within the set time, "Feedback fire damper" must change again to indicate that the damper has reached the other end position. If not, an alarm will be triggered.
When damper has reached the end position the output "Fire damper" will be reset to drive it back to normal position. Again, within the set time (90 sec), the signal on the digital input "Feedback fire damper" must change to indicate that it has left the end positions. If not, an alarm will be triggered.
Then, within the set time, "Feedback fire damper" must change again to indicate that the damper is back to a normal positions. If not, an alarm will be triggered.
